these are some of the sites that we have investigated.
Includes summaries of our reports, pictures, and EVP.
Self-Check
Before beginning any investigation perform a quick check of yourself Check your emotions. Are you calm and cheerful? Or
are you angry, anxious or depressed?
How do you feel physically? Are you feeling strong and healthy? Do you feel energized? Or do you feel like you’re coming
down with something?
Are your allergies kicking up? Are you’re having problems breathing?
If you’re not feeling your best, consider staying home. Or at the very least, take extra precautions and continue to do self-
checks during the investigation. Be aware of any shifts in your energy or changes in your mood. Ask yourself if this shift has
an explainable cause or if it is coming out of nowhere.

Positive Intent
Try not to be afraid, fear doesn't help you. Be positive and confident in your ability to deal with the situation. The “Buddy
System” also works, as there is (more than just psychologically) safety in numbers; people of similar mind and intent can
protect each other.

Sometimes the simplest solution is also the most reliable
Speak to the ghost, out loud. Shout, if you feel you must. Explain to your ghost that you live there now and he/she is doing
things that bother you. Explain exactly what those things are. Ask the ghost to stop immediately. If you want the ghost to leave
altogether, you need to say that.
This often works. However, some ghosts won't take you seriously, and you may need to remind it to leave you alone several
times before it stays away.

Religious and Spiritual Symbols and objects
Every religious and spiritual belief system has symbols of power, connection, and protection that can be useful to the faithful.

Spirit Guides and Guardians
Call upon your Guardian Angel, personal Spirit Guide, or Angel of Protection (i.e. Michael, Gabriel, Rhamiel just to name a
few) and ask them to remain and keep you safe from negative and harmful energies.

Stones and Crystals
There are many stones that can help protect you and/or repel harmful influence. Carry, or place around your home (inside
and/or out), any or many of these protective stones:
•        Kyanite, Lapis Lazuli, or Turquoise, which help keep you alert and aware of your safety;
•        Black Tourmaline, Tektite, or Black Obsidian, which help keep you physically protected as they repel negative energies.
•        Shiny stones, like Hematite and Iron Pyrite, can be used also for they are disruptive to negative energy.
•        Clear stones, such as Quartz, or even Salt (which is Halite), have long been considered useful at keeping away or
disrupting negative energies.
•        In Chinese Feng Shui, clear crystals are hung in windows, doorways, and anywhere there is a dark or stagnant feel, to
stir up positive energy and keep away disruptive forces.
•        Each of these gems is considered common and they are widely available on the Internet sites like
Sandie’s Psychic
Stones. Try carrying all of them or a combination of your favorites in a small pouch on your next paranormal investigation.
You may notice a decrease in fatigue and a boost in psychic awareness thanks to your stones!

Smudging with White Sage and Incense
Certain dried leaves, herbs, or incense that produce fragrant smoke when burned are used, especially among certain Native
American peoples, to cleanse places, persons, or objects of negative spiritual energies. You can also smudge with incense.
•        White Sage smudge sticks are considered to be the most useful for the cleansing and banishing of negative energies
and forces.

Animal Totems
Carry or place carvings of your personal animal protector Totem. Turtle, Bear, and Armadillo are most common for protecting
against harmful spirits, but many Totems (which are spirit beings themselves) can aid in your defense.

Protective Herbs
** Please do some research on Herbs before using or carrying them for metaphysical or healing purposes. Many herbs can
be harmful to humans if misused. Example: Bay leaf is good for protection (and cooking!), but the oil of Bay can burn the
eyes and irritate skin.
With centuries of tradition, Nature power can help to protect you from negative energies and harmful spiritual attachments.
Carry, or place around your home (inside and/or out), any or many of these protective Herbs. If available, some can also be
burned as incense.
•        Bay leaf, Cinnamon sticks, Rosemary leaf- Strong protection against negative energies.
•        Frankincense, Myrrh, Clove – Good for driving negative energy and negative spirits away from a home or location.
•        Lilac, Clover, Lavender, Violet – Plant these around your hope to ward off harmful spirits.
•        Sage, Sandalwood, Patchouli, Jasmine – Burn as incense (called Smudging) to cleanse a home, object, and yourself of
negative attachments and harmful energies.
•        Mistletoe hung over the front door of your home is considered to be very protective.
* DO NOT ingest, boil or burn Mistletoe; it is very poisonous!

Wind Chimes & Bells
When struck, these objects create ordered, structured sound, which repels harmful spirits and negative energies. You can
carry these items with you to clear a room or doorway, or you can hang the chimes outside doorways and windows to ward off
negative energies.

Mirrors
Mirrors reflect light, which naturally carries positive, cleansing energy. Place mirrors where they can catch light and reflect it
into your home. Beware: dirty mirrors can accumulate negative or harmful residue, which can alter energies reflected by the
mirror. So keep them clean!

Drains
In some few cases, harmful spirits can enter through drains and pipes in the floors or walls. Like bad odors or clogs, harmful
spirits can sometime emerge from a dirty drain. If you think that this is the case, clean the drains, and cover them with
something white (fabric, plastic, rubber, etc) to prevent negative energy outflow.

Bathing
Speaking of drains, don’t underestimate the power of a good scrub!  In many cases, it isn't just dirt that you are removing
from your body when you shower or bathe. Running water, provided by nature or other methods, has a long and fine tradition
of being used for spiritual and metaphysical cleansing purposes.
Certain Native American tribes still perform the “Sweat Lodge” tradition, part of a cleansing ritual, where sweating forces
negative energies out of the body. They are not alone in this type of practice, as water cleansing is known and used by many
cultures.

~*~ A Cemetery Tip on Shoes ~*~
Take two pairs of shoes with you; one pair to wear to and from the cemetery, one pair to wear in the cemetery. Place this
second pair in a plastic bag until you can cleanse them...it's quite easy for a spirit to attach themselves to your shoes and
walk right out of the Cemetery with you.

Clean up
If you can't do anything else, clean your house. Physically I mean, so tidy up, put everything away then vacuum thoroughly

Folklore Remedies for Ghost Protections and Spirit Banishments

Though many of the following protections are considered “superstitious” and aren't often to be found in modern ghost
protection arsenals, they have had much use over the centuries with varying degrees of success.  As with all spiritual and
metaphysical defenses, belief is a primary fuel source for the effectiveness of these protections.  Though these defenses and
supplications often fall into the “old wives’ tales” category, they can be surprisingly effective.

Mirrors
Following a death in the family, it is said that covering all of the mirrors in a household will prevent the newly deceased from
using any of these mirrors as a portal from the afterlife into the living world.

Candles
A simple protection approach towards keeping the ghosts away is to light candles at your residence and keep them burning
throughout the night.

Running Water
Sometimes you feel as if you are being followed or chased by a ghost. It is believed that ghosts cannot cross over into a
moving body of water. So, if you ever feel that you are being followed by a ghost, you may want to head for the wetness and
jump into a river, stream, creek, ocean, or sea.

When a ghost is following you, there are other ways to shake them. Going through the cleft of a tree will create confusion in
the minds of ghosts and you will be able to lose them.

Garlic
Don't laugh! Garlic is a tried-and-true repellent for unpleasant spirits of all kinds. Hang one clove (or an entire bulb) in each
doorway and window where you need protection. A clove in your pocket is a good idea, too.

Where are you going?
This one sounds silly but often gets great results. When you go to bed at night, set out the shoes you'll wear in the morning.
Place them at the foot of your bed, on the floor, with one shoe pointing one way, and the other shoe pointing the opposite
way. According to folklore, the ghosts get so confused by this, they leave after a few nights.

Countdown to frustration
These counting remedies come from a variety of cultures, including Irish and Native American, so this may be a reliable way
to rid the house of ghosts.
Randomly toss rice, split peas, sand, salt (but not sugar as it leaves a sticky residue), coffee beans or grounds, or anything
small and granular, on your kitchen floor when you go to bed at night (if that's when the ghosts are most bothersome).
According to folklore, the ghosts will pause to count the grains of whatever-it-is. They aren't very good at counting, so they
have to start over again, repeatedly, or they forget the numbers. Clean up the mess in the morning, and do the same routine
again at night.  After a few nights of this, the ghosts will leave.

One variation of this is to hang a vial or tube of sand in the window of any haunted room. You can use a cheap test tube from
a chemistry kit or any similar small container. You can use a thin ribbon and a pushpin to hang it in the window. Like the
grains of rice on the kitchen floor, any entering ghost has to pause to count the sand granules. After a few nights, they'll give
up and haunt somewhere else.

Paint your door red
This is an old Irish tradition: Paint your front door red. It is said that spirits won't enter a home with a red door. A related
tradition is the Irish Sheela-na-gig (regarded by some as vulgar), and other religious and cultural icons placed at a front
doorway, for protection.

Sigil Nails and Hex Protections
On many pious Puritan homes of the Colonial era, you'll see a geometric pattern of nails, paint or other materials. Whether
these church-goers were aware of it or not, the pattern in the door was a protection, according to ancient folklore. (And at a
time when nails and paint were difficult to find, it's interesting that the design on the door, walls, and buildings were such a
priority.)

Wort Lore
Wort is an old world word that means “herb” or plant.  A string, or wreath, of Hazelnuts hung in every doorway into your house
has been used for protection since ancient times. You may want to bless the wreath in a ritual suited to your own religious
beliefs, or have your local priest bless it. There's no reason to explain what this is for, except to say it's a "good luck" token
for your front and back door, or something like that. (You'd be amazed at the things that priests are asked to bless. Your
wreath won't even raise an eyebrow.)
There is also a way to utilize herbal remedies and natural items for ghost protection. Rowen and St. John’s wort can be hung
in the doorways of homes to keep evil spirits from knocking on doors.

Sea salt
According to legend, ghosts cannot cross a line of blessed salt, so you can use it to keep a ghost in a particular area, or
create a boundary that he/she cannot cross to get to you.

After The Investigation
Many people who are very diligent about setting up protective measures prior to an investigation, neglect to follow through at
the end. Here is a simple suggestion for closing out an investigation.

Before you leave the site, make sure all spirits understand they are not welcome to follow you home. You may feel foolish as
you are doing it, but do it anyway. Thank the spirits for their presence and then bid them farewell. Set boundaries and don’t
leave any room for interpretation. Say it out loud: “To all spirits present, I ask that you do NOT follow me home.”

We ghost hunters don’t often scare easily; our aim is to make contact with ghosts, not to avoid them. But, like big
game hunting, it’s foolish to go looking for spirits without taking proper precautions first.

Here’s one last look at some helpful tips while ghost hunting:
Listen to your gut instinct during an investigation. If it doesn't feel “right,” don’t do it.
Don’t participate in a ghost hunt if you are feeling ill, over-tired, angry or stressed-out.
Never take your safety, or that of your team, for granted.  And Never go ghost hunting alone.
Always pay attention to your environment; avoid unsafe areas such as crumbling buildings or ruins, and be extra careful
when ghost hunting at night.

Following these simple guidelines won’t diminish anyone’s chances of discovering and communicating with spirits.
It will, however, ensure that nothing you’re hunting will end up catching you.
Ghost Protections - Spiritual and Metaphysical
Useful tools and ideas on how to protect yourself from unwanted spiritual attention.
This article contain excerpts from Sandie La Nae's Book, A Ghost Hunter's Guide - For Investigations of the Paranormal.

Most ghosts aren't harmful, and can even be fun to converse with, but unfortunately, not all ghosts and spiritual entities are benign
and friendly. From time to time, you may run across forces that are negative, capricious, or even cruel; the spiritual universe isn't all
sweetness and light.

Charms, talismans, and objects of power have been used, in some form, for centuries to protect a person or building from negative
energies and harmful spiritual attachments. There are numerous beliefs, powers and objects available for spiritual self-defense, but
items listed on these pages are a few of the common ones.

Belief in the effectiveness of these varied methods differs between peoples and theologies, but most cultures and religions have
systems of spiritual and/or metaphysical protections against harmful spirits and negative or disruptive energies.

These items are NOT some kind of a bulletproof vest!  They are to assist in protecting you from negative spiritual energies.

Belief and intent is important; your emotional state strongly influences your personal power fueling any metaphysical protection. If
you don’t believe it can help, the item will work, but its power will be limited, and may not assist you sufficiently.

Most of these protections can be used at home and abroad. There are also many books available on the subject of protective
energies and defenses against malign forces.

Important note: Most spirit beings, ‘good’ and ‘bad’, need energy to manifest or move things in the material world. ‘Good’ spirits will
borrow energy harmlessly from an environment, gathering bits from ambient heat, static electricity, and other small things. Negative
spirits generally choose the easier route and get their energy directly from you; by absorbing power from your fear, paranoia, and
confusion. So, don’t give them a free lunch; Be Positive.

When it comes to ghost protection, there are plenty of ways to protect yourself, especially when visiting places that are known to
serve as a home to spirits. Overall, carrying something to protect you from ghosts is a helpful habit to get into, regardless if you
believe in ghosts or not. If anything, you may find a little more luck in your pocket.

I would like to introduce to you an interesting and informative book about reincarnation.
I recommend it to all who are interested in past lives - you won't be disappointed!!
Richard Salva's thorough and detailed research gives the reader astonishing correlations
between two public figures and inspiring insights between these two well-loved souls.

It is a fascinating and amazing read!!
Sandie La Nae
"Episode by episode, through their ideas, words, points of view, behavior, character, adventures, ambitions and accomplishments, the author
builds a compelling case study. His presentation, far beyond the realm of coincidence or superficial likeness, supports the phenomenon of
reincarnation as well as the validity of this particular instance. The details of the life stories of Lincoln and Lindbergh are fascinating in themselves
and gain additional interest from the mystery of their possible life-to-life connection.

"Overall, the book takes its place as a fascinating study of reincarnation, the exhaustion of karma and the transformation of the human being."

Paramhansa Yogananda—the great master of yoga and author of the classic Autobiography of a Yogi—made an intriguing statement. He said that
Abraham Lincoln had been a Himalayan yogi in a past life, and that he was reborn as the great aviator, Charles Lindbergh. But what do the
histories show? Is there anything in the lives of these two men that validates Yogananda's words?

In Soul Journey from Lincoln to Lindbergh, Richard Salva presents nearly 500 similarities in the personalities, characters, and life circumstances
of Lincoln and Lindbergh. No other reincarnation book comes close to offering such a powerful and convincing argument that reincarnation
exists. The astonishing Lincoln-Lindbergh connections span every aspect of the human condition: from the physical to the mental, emotional,
spiritual and interpersonal.
